Alessandro Lombardo, born in Milan, Italy starts shaping his talent at a very early age playing violin and classical music and then shifting towards a more contemporary style around the age of 7 with piano and drums.
A graduate from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA in 2011 (Summa Cum Laude), Alessandro has played all around the world in 5 continents and had the honor to collaborate with some wonderful artists including: Michael MacDonald, Sofia Rubina, Massimo Valentini, Rhiannon, Berklee Musical Theater Orchestra, Donna McElroy, PLS trio, Liutauras Janusaitis, 5th Note Group, Dennis Montgomery, Jackson Schultz, Ken Pullig and many others.
Some of the notable performances include recording the single “Hey Hey My My” for Universal Music and playing in various renowned venues and festivals around the world such as Grenoble Jazz Festival (FR), Washington Square Festival (US), Kaunas Jazz, Broma Jazz (LT), Spoleto Jazz (IT), Swampscott Jazz Series(US) e LostInJazz(FIN) and Italian Jazz Graffitti. Alessandro received numerous awards among which the prestigious Armand Zildjian award in 2011 and the Jazzit Award in 2012.
